The main stages in software development
1) Analysis of customer requirements
At this stage a detailed description, based on the specifications, of the functionalities that the new application has to have is made. Besides these, we will find the necessary solutions to implement the functionalities requested by the client.
It is very important for the beneficiary to allocate the necessary resources to define the business requirements in this first stage. Following these activities will be sent a document with specifications which will need to be reviewed by the beneficiary.
2) Establishing the realization chart
The implementation chart of the application will be established together with the client, depending on the contract execution deadlines, as well as the availability of the technical team.
3) Software development
At this stage, UppGoo will focus its efforts to build the application as per customer specifications, and it will be readjusted if other requirements arise.
4) Configuring the software application
The project manager will determine what activities will be carried out for the implementation of the application, based on the specifications requested by the client. Customization and configuration is performed on the client’s test environment. Partial and final testing will be performed and their objective will be to verify compliance with the specifications and the impact of customizations on the good functionality of some modules or the entire application.
5) Delivery of the application
After making all the settings on the test environment, Uppgoo will install the application as specified on the client’s production environment. The plant will be responsible for:
1. Check the conditions for installing and running the application
2. Prepare the minutes of commissioning
3. Install the application
4. Configuration of the application according to the settings made in the test environment
6) Additional assistance when the application enters production
In this last step, the UppGoo team will provide additional assistance to the client, according to the contract period. They will readjust and recapture certain features identified in production differently from their initial analysis.
